1. What is Picture Day all about?

Picture Day is essentially a fancy name for our mini sessions. A pop-up photo studio. Perfect for families, friends, singles, pets, who would love a photo shoot, but don’t necessarily want to spend the time or money for a full session. It’s a 15 minute session, in-studio, with a colored backdrop that changes each year.

2. How much does it cost—and what’s included?

Included in each session is 15 minutes of shooting and 10 fully processed hi-res digital images. The cost is currently $500 and images will be delivered in a private online gallery.

3. How long does it take to get the photos?

You will receive an email with your private online gallery of proofs approximately three weeks of your Picture Day. From there, you will select your 10 favorite images, which will then be available for download. We understand that many people choose to use these photos for holiday cards and gift giving, so we do our very best to focus on a quick turnaround.

4. Eek, I want more than 10 photos! Can I purchase additional images?

Yes, you can purchase additional hi-res images for $25 each.

5. How many people can we bring?

We always recommend no more than 6 people (babies and furry friends not included), but can do various combinations if you decide to bring more. Just remember, there’s only so much we can do in 15 minutes, so plan accordingly! When bringing extended family, we always recommend booking two back to back sessions.

6. What should we wear?

As cliché as this sounds, just be yourself! You found the perfect dress for your five year old, but they refuse to wear dresses? Don’t force it! The most important thing is that you’re all comfortable—and coordinating colors a bit can’t hurt either. We’ve been known to help clients pick their outfits (just send us a text!) and we always send out a mood board with inspiration and color palette suggestions prior to each session.

7. When should we arrive?

In a perfect world, we’d love for you to arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled time slot. We book these sessions back-to-back, so please give yourselves plenty of time to park, walk and get through that unexpected meltdown. And if you’re still running late, take a deep breath and we promise we’ll make it work.

8. What is your cancellation policy?

All Picture Day sessions are non-refundable. If something comes up and you can’t make your scheduled date/time, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to reschedule or fill your spot. If someone gets sick or you unexpectedly have to cancel, please give us at least 24 hours notice and you will receive a credit towards a future session.

On the off chance that we don’t receive an adequate number of bookings for your scheduled shoot date, we will notify all who have signed up at least two weeks prior and all bookings will be refunded.

9. Can I give a Portrait Day session to someone else?

Of course! Please send us an email and we can set it all up.

10. I want to schedule a longer shoot, is that something you do?
